Equatorial Guinea, a small but dynamic nation on the west coast of Central Africa, blends lush tropical landscapes with a thriving oil-driven economy, offering a unique glimpse into both African and Spanish colonial legacies.

The country is split between a continental region, Río Muni, and an insular region that includes the island of Bioko—home to the capital, Malabo—and the volcanic archipelago of Annobón.
